Production: Defining Television Programme Programme title Who Killed Him? Genre Crime. I was unsure on whether I would settle on a comedy-drama genre however from my research it seems as if the target audience are interested in crime shows. From this, I aim for 'crime' as my main genre and include drama tones as my subgenre. Summary of programme themes It will probably be based off of the other typical 'fictional-crime' shows and movies. Since the rest of my television series will be based off of the first episode and most importantly the opening, it will have to be produced and made well. Since it will be crime, the opening could be a murder scene so that it sets the plot for the rest of the series and makes viewers focus on the details of the opening.
